The "SmartCity" concept arrives in Barcelona as a new urban strategy. Avenida Meridiana is one of the main streets of the capital of Catalunya. However, it generates an urban pattern effect at the pedestrian scale as a "rupture condition" or "artificial limit". This urban phenomenon is a characteristic of cities which road infrastructure is the main goal of its development.
Through the collection of real time data for mobility, functions and events, we offer a virtual platform capable of generating an interactive agenda that can transform the street into a flexible public space. |
